Mr. Lutton has more than 15 years of experience in consulting and management, with particular strengths in strategy, sales & marketing, energy, and telecom.
Prior to founding Woodlawn Associates he served as an executive at Motorola Mobile Devices, where he headed strategy for a $2 billion division in Asia and ran a $500 million retail sales channel. He also led a number of software and product strategy projects.
Before Motorola, Mr. Lutton was a consultant for L.E.K. Consulting, where he worked with a variety of telecommunications, private equity, and industrial products and services firms. Earlier in his career Mr. Lutton spent three years in general management at Nuvera Fuel Cells, an energy technology company.
Mr. Lutton holds a BA in economics from Colby College and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He has extensive experience in Asia, including China and Japan.
When he is not working, Mr. Lutton enjoys spending time with his wife, Laura, and his two boys, Ted and Cal. He also enjoys photography and cooking.

Mr. Block has over 20 years experience in various operational, entrepreneurial, advisory and principal investing roles. He has significant experience doing business in Europe, particularly Germany, as well as Latin America and India.
He most recently was a partner at Apollo Management, L.P. During his time at Apollo Mr. Block specialized in commodities, the energy sector broadly defined, telecommunications, and media.
In addition, Mr. Block worked in the Munich office of Apax Partners, founded his own advisory firm for mergers and acquisitions and co-founded a start-up in the healthcare services sector, where he served as commercial director and operations director. He also worked in the New York and London offices of James D. Wolfensohn Incorporated. Mr. Block was a member of the corporate finance department of Matuschka GmbH in Munich, where he assisted clients with cross-border M&A transactions in Europe.
Mr. Block graduated from Columbia College with an AB in history and German and received his MBA from the University of Chicago.
When he is not working, Mr. Block spends time with his wife, Gabriela, and his three children, Alessia, Luciana, and Felix. He also enjoys chess, sports, and traveling.

Mr. Drummond has more than 15 years experience in management, operational, and consulting roles with technology companies.
He has served on both sides of the board room table and worked with venture funded startups to publicly traded enterprises, in sectors such as telecommunications, Internet services, healthcare, and solar energy.
Prior to entering consulting, Mr. Drummond served as president of the optical networking division of Harmonic, Inc., where he also headed product marketing. In those rolls he led a number of strategic initiatives and M&A projects. Before Harmonic, Mr. Drummond worked in business development for Novera Optics and Intel. He began his career in engineering and product management of analytical instruments.
Mr. Drummond holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, an MS in Applied Physics from Yale University, and a BS from the University of Rochester’s Institute of Optics.

Mr. Feinberg has five years of experience in public policy and research, most recently serving as Senior Policy Advisor to a Member of Congress. In that role, he specialized in financial services, taxation, and business policy, and wrote part of The Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform Act. He also developed a bipartisan coalition to support energy efficiency initiatives in the U.S. Army, and drafted legislation, passed by the House of Representatives in 2010, to establish energy efficiency as a metric in defense procurement.
Prior to Woodlawn, Mr. Feinberg completed an MBA from the University of Chicago and worked for two early-stage ventures: Spire, based in Nairobi, Kenya, and Edovo, based in Chicago. He holds an MSc from the London School of Economics and a BA from Columbia University. In 2008, he was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship for graduate research in Spain. He speaks fluent Spanish and conversational German.
In his free time, Mr. Feinberg spends time with his wife, Lindsay and his son Karl. He enjoys cooking, tennis and squash, and the outdoors.

Mr. Goldberg has worked for more than 15 years in investment banking and equity research.
Most recently, he headed all communications technology equity research for Think Equity. He previously held a similar a similar role at Deutsche Bank. He has proven effectiveness in providing strategic insight to institutional and venture investors in the tech sector and has been directly involved in more than a dozen IPOs.
Mr. Goldberg is fluent in Mandarin and has an extensive network of contacts in the Silicon Valley, the tech supply chain and venture community. He received his BA in History from the University of California, Berkeley, and his MBA from the University of Chicago.

Mr. Kale has more than 15 years of experience in incubating, growing and harvesting businesses for startups and Fortune 500 companies.
As a corporate strategist at Cisco and Micron, Mr. Kale developed and executed key portions of plans that delivered over $1.5 billion incremental revenue within 18-24 months. He has managed Micron’s venture capital and market intelligence groups, and, while at McKinsey, turned around a $6 billion European logistics company.
Mr. Kale has helped raise over $150m for several startups in the internet/telecommunications sector, and launched them with major awards and significant tier 1 media coverage. He began his career managing products at a startup, later helping acquire and roll up 3 companies to go public in 1998.
Mr. Kale holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, an MS in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University, and a BASc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo (Canada).
When not working, Mr. Kale enjoys traveling the world with his wife, Anagha, and his two boys, Rohan and Varun. He also enjoys skiing, photography and racquet sports.
Micah Sussman, PhD

Dr. Sussman focuses primarily on projects in renewable energy and energy storage. He has almost a decade of scientific research experience, primarily focused in energy. Before coming to Woodlawn, he worked as a researcher in energy storage devices at McGill University in Montreal. He has been published in a variety of scientific publications.
Dr. Sussman holds a PhD from McGill in materials engineering, specializing in batteries and supercapacitors. His thesis, Novel Mesoporous Nano-Titania/Carbon Composite Electrodes for Electrochemical Energy Storage, described new materials and methods for the fabrication of electrodes with enhanced charge and discharge performance. He also has an M. Eng. in energy systems engineering and a B.S. in materials science and engineering, both from Lehigh University.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and sons, as well as staying active by fencing and playing hockey and ultimate Frisbee.
